actually, you can just go to a website like talent search or something to that effect, where you can get in contact with people like that, more or less you should record videos etc, of you singing if they ask for some to take it from their. I'm not sure how old you are, but if you're very young, it probably won't happen UNTIL your voice has matured, unless you just naturally have a strong matured voice like a few people in this world has. More or less, I suggest doing cover songs on youtube, of a few songs if you haven't already started, that's some exposure, and i suggest the talent search thing for more exposure. Before you can catch the eyes of the big people, you have to get yourself known, Like for example, Youtube sensation Fred, has a movie that's going to preview on national television even. So yeah , the power of being known.

I guess youtube would be the best place.

Justin beiber got his fame from that site.. and i guess many others too..

All the best!

am sure you would be a real good singer one day! :)

Well, if that is really what your dream is, then go for it. Talk to your parents about it, and they can help you. Put some videos up on youtube, and wait a little bit. Once you think you have gotten as far as you can on youtube, then look around for acting jobs. Producers go all around the country looking for someone just right for their tv shows or movies. Audition, and if you don't get the part the first time, then just keep trying and keep your head up high!

Again, there is no easy way. Hard work and dedication are what would get you to stand out in the crowd. I would first tryout for local theatres. They definitely get you a leg up in the world. The best way to find these auditions is to look on (Gulp) They have a completely seperate section for auditions. I hope this and your hard work and dedication, get you to where you want to be.

that's one of my dreams, too. here are the steps I'm taking/taken, and it's getting me far;

-participate in community theatre. you can get judgement; if you're good enough for big time, you should get a lead role ( I've been doing theatre for 6 or 7 years now). also, you get additional dance and vocal practice when in ensemble!

-I auditioned for IMTA and Barbizon and made it into both ( I had to drop IMTA due to price). However (International Modeling and Talent Agency) Barbizon (the school) was really helpful. I should be turning in my headshots anytime now. If you audition for this, not only will you go to school for being an actress, but you will (in the end) have an agent who can help you find jobs.

-take dance & vocal lessons. I'm going into ballet and my friend is teaching me tap, but I've never really had the money for this. I consider my friends who've been in dance their whole life blessed. I'm getting vocal lessons for my birthday.

-learn piano, guitar, and either drums or a random instrument. these are the most common instruments and to me easiest to play for beginners, and to hit the big time they want you to be multitalented in the fine arts. personally I've been playing piano and guitar since I was like four.

I hope these help at least a little bit. (: Hope to see you in Hollywood.

Just remember to keep on it. You don't want all this hard work to go to waste.
