if you feel insecure you could try to shape up a little - just look up "ab exercises" or "belly exercises" on the internet - stuff comes up.

Good luck :) and don't stress too much over it... women are SUPPOSED to have fat on their legs.

i feel exactly the same way! im 13 and thats what im trying to do to. in the mornings i wake up at 6:00 and go for a 1 mile run but i dont run the entire time i do this thing called intervals where u run for a certain amount of time and then walk a certain amount of time, supposedly it make you lose weight faster and i do this 3 times a week. monday, wednesday, and then friday. on the other days when im not running i do this julian workout and only do ab workouts, butt and thigh workouts and then chest workouts, then later on in the day i get some music and dance its a great and fun way to excersice. and then on the weekends let your body rest. dont do this all the time mabye do it for a week then wait two weeks stay on your current diet , no need to switch, and after two weeks do this routine again. the reason i say to do this only for a week is because if you over work your body it wont work, and if you stop for a little while your body goes back to what it usually does then once u do the routine again your body will go into shock( dont worry its not bad) and then your body drops even more weight this time... hope this helps:) i use to weigh 110 lbs and now i weigh 92 pounds, and after you feel that youve lost enough weight do toning excercises to tone up, but if youd like you can just run that has worked the best for one of my moms best friends she just runs and she has an amazing stomach(hope that doesnt seem weird) but anyways she has an amazing stomach and she hasnt done one sit-up, hope this helps!:)

It could just be baby fat. When I was your age, I danced for 20 hrs a week, and still had a little extra weight. When I turned 16, it just kinda went away.

Drink four bottles of 500 ml water a day and do lunges, crunches, push-ups and jog. Jog at least 3 times a week for 20 minutes per day (I'd do more but that's okay to start) and do lunges, crunches, and push-ups on the days you don't jog

Maybe try a new sport, i know this may be a bit far-fetched but if you're interested in losing weight and staying fit in the long term then swimming is so good for you! I used to be so chubby and yuck at the beginning of last year then decided i wanted to lose weight for my year 10 formal. ive always been doing swimming on and off but decided to pick it up 3 times a week; monday 3.30-4.15pm, wednesday 3.30-4.15pm and thursday mornings 6.15-7.30. before i started swimming i would have had to look for a size 10-12 dress, and afterwards i had to go and swap my dress for an 8! seriously try it, maybe get a couple of friends to do it with you like i did. heaps of fun :)
