how do i get that scene-ish hair like this?

when answering this question, be more specific on which process comes first, the straightening(permanently or just with an iron?) and the cutting/doing the style.

hair like brookelle mckenzie or this girl in this photo :D

awwww thats nommi! shes lovely :)

firstall, her hair is not all real, her hair is much shorter and the length is added with clip in extentions, google 'headkandy' for good quality thick extentions. :)

secondly, her hair is VERY blonde, idk where you live but in england most people do this with live xxl in platinum blonde by shwatsqof. (i cant spell it aha), or go to a hairdressers where they just add more & more peroxide.

nommi has a thick fringe with short layers all over, especially towards the back.

chemically straightening hair expecially after lightening, diying etc can make it fall out even more so i suggest just using an iron, invest in GHD's :)! (they honestly are the best)

lastly, most of these styles are heavy in volume, so use THICKENING formulas in shampoos/conditioners, and try teasting a little bit (but not too much as her hair is slightly fluffy not standing on end). hairspray is also a good one to invest in with this style, i use tresseme freeze hold and have never looked back (ive tried many before).

Samy FATHAIR shampoo.

Samy FATHAIR conditioner.

Tresseme Freeze Hold Hairspray.

GHD straightening irons.

headkandy extentions/ or any other.

PS) if you are going to buy extentions DO NOT buy SYNTHETIC, they look AWFUL, and you cannot style them (use heat, ie. straighteners, curlers, etc.)

hope i helped, msg me if you want anymore help. haha :) xx

Okay use a flat iron to make you hair straight. then comb it out. then gather a little bit of hair from the top and pull it a little more than 90 degrees the opposite direction. then with a comb or teasing comb or even a reg brush tease it or, comb it the opposite way in which it grows. then spray it with a bit of hairspray then tease again. do this to your whole head and dont freak if it looks like a rats nest, if it does just GENTLY comb the top of it down till it looks the way you want it. The more you tease the bigger it will get. the closer you tease your head the less poofy it will be also. like if you tease from your scalp all the way up it will stand straight up in the air so if you want it to only have a little bit of height tease close to the scalp.

the girl in the pic more than likey has hair extensions, her hair might only be to her shoulders but hey, who cares what length it is, it will still look good. and I suggest that if you have thick hair, you'll want to get it thinned. also get your hair razored fo it has an edge to it. and if you dont have bangs get those too. i think it looks good if you have your hair cut so it shapes your face.

i'd say she teases near her scalp on either side of her head near the crown becuase it's not super fluffy

yea probly a flat iron for the straightening

and you have long hair so you won't need extensions but you will need some layers cut into the top and a fringe bang

i think a cut like that will look cute on you

oh yeah okay thanks. those are actually extensions andi alreeady do have the cut. but i just wasnt sure if i was suppose to have it like straightened permanently. cuz it would kinda be too tiresome to like straighten it myself everyday. so yeah if i was jusr really wondering if i should get the cut before the PERMANENT straightening or the other way around :) HAHA confusing
