Whats the best way to heal sore muscles after a work out?

I love to work out! but the soreness afterwards is annoying. what's the fastest way to heal the sore muscles? i know plenty of stretching and protein helps but isn't there anything quicker?

Massage the Muscles. Usually this hurts, but if you rub them enough, the pain recedes. you can get someone to help you.

.. Take a warm bath.. the warmer the better. its soaks up the muscles and relaxes them.

...Also put heat on it. like a heating pad. and you should try icey hot.

and its good that you stretch before.!!

Let me see, what I do is... depending on where the soreness is... if it is shin splints from running then after I stretch I will do the ice pack treatment with a towel. If my arms are sore from lifting weights then after I stretch I usually like to take a hot bath to loosen my muscles. Hot bath or steam room will help relax the muscles. But always do dynamic and static stretches before and after you work out! that is most important... it will prevent your soreness. ( also sport or deep tissue massages help a ton...but I get kinda jumpy)

Get something like Icyhot or Biofreeze. Both of those are muscle relaxers. They're really fast. Make sure pressure is applied after you put it on(:

Ooooh theres this prodcut and its like a massage bar sort of. You can get it at the store Lush. All their products are natural. Anyway, it's a little massage bar that has these beans embedded into it and it helps muscle pains. Smells really nice to me.

I know it looks weird but it feels really nice and I haven't really used it but I tested it at the store.

icy/hot massaged softly

drinking a drink with Gludamine (i can't spell it lol) Powder *you can buy a big cannister at walmart in the body building section) you take some before and some after. the powder tastes like nothing and you can add it to ANY DRINK

also a warm bath can help sooth sore muscles

ya you should stretch straight after and hold each stretch for a least 30 to 60 secs. i never use to because i thought it was boring but i do know because it does help alot.
