im 13 going on 14, and i hardly eat any vegies. the only vegitables i eat are potatoes, pumpkin if its made into a soup and i usually eat onions if they are minor pices and are cooked.

im affraid to try anything else, because i kno that i wont like it and itll make me feel sick. i only have one apple a day. is this bad for my health that i dont eat vegies?

That's really bad for you. One day your body will catch up with you, and you're going to get sick.

I'll have to agree with the first comment.

One of these days it will catch up with you.

And you'll regret not trying those veggies,

All because of the fear of being sick D;

If you dont like veggies,

Trying pairing them up with something that you do like,

Say you're about to have dinner,

and you have on your plate green beans and chicken.

Just take a small bite of greenbeans with a bite of chicken,

and you won't even be able to taste it.

Trust me, its not that bad, (:

Yeah, just keep forcing yourself to eat a little bit of everything, even if you KNOW you don't like it. Believe it or not, that way you will eventually start LOVING it.

I used to hate mushrooms with a passion, but my parents made me eat one or two small ones every time they were having mushrooms with their food. I LOVE mushrooms now.

Vegetables are incredibly important for being healthy and fit and looking gorgeous! They contain pretty much everything your body needs apart from protein and fat (which you get from dairy products, eggs, meat, etc.)

You are still growing! If you don't take good care of your body now, you might not develop the way nature and your genes intended you to. The people in the middle ages were all much shorter than we are nowadays...only because they had a much worse diet than most modern people. Think about it really so bad to eat some things that taste less-than-delicious to make sure you don't, you know, cripple yourself?

I know it's a drastic way of putting it, but it's true.

Tomatoes are sweet and juicy, paprika is crunchy and a bit sour, cucumbers are refreshing and almost neutral in taste...those are only some examples, but there are so many different flavours in veggies, I am sure you will like some of them.

Actually it's scientifically proven that we start disliking things our body isn't used to after a while. If you would stop eating and drinking sugary things for a month or two, it would blow you away how sweet coke or chocolate is and you would be disgusted with it. Same with veggies. Get used to them and start loving them, your body will thank you!
