Bacon diffusion! Help help!

Okay, imagine you're cooking a bacon... These are my questions:

Why did the aroma first appear? Why did the odor spread throughout the room? Why did some people smell it first before others could? Pls answer these 3 questions, deadline will be tomorrow..Pls help me.. I have my answers here to these 3 questions, but I wanna see other answers, so that I can know better.. :) Pls pls, thanks

is this science homework? well, it actually depends hun.. I mean i can answer these questions basing on common sense but I'm afraid I can't back them up scientifically. lol. lemme give it my best shot, though..

1. Anything heated has the ability to give off aroma instantly.

2. Gaseous matter like odor/smell diffuses in air up to a certain distance. I think it's what you call a property that gas has.

2. It could either be some people are closer to the source of the aroma and the rest farther from it or others just don't have a very keen sense of smell.
