Sore Scratchy Throat When I Wake Up

Okay so, my building (rez) turned the air conditioning off, and since then i've woken up with a dry throat....and it's gotten worse I get a sore scratchy throat with a cough and throbbing headache whenever I wake there a way to stop this? I've looked online and it says i get this because i sleep with my mouth open....well i've always done that and i never had this problem when the air conditioning was going on....i hate this...i also have a stuffy...annoying nose lol

try getting a humidifier? they sell them at walmart. it'll put moisture back into the air.

Honestly the best thing you can do is save up for a humidifyer it truly helps. Until you can save up, something make-shift is placing a bowl of steaming hot water in front of your fan and that can have the same effect for a short period of time. It has worked for me before. Also keep your head warm at night and drink a huge glass of water right before you go to bed.

Also humidifiers are kind of expensive but at walmart you can definitley find one under $30. Just save for a little while and it can really help.

it is very possible that your room is just dry and you are breathing it during the night giving u a sore throat. humidifier is the best solution. if not u just keep a larg pot full of water in your room while u sleep. It will make the room cool.

it sounds like your room's got dry air and it gets worse with no airconditining. stuffy nose and scratchy throat may be cause by some allergens that's now circulating in your room. Are you currently letting outdoor air in? This is likely why you're getting all these.
