Razor bumps worsened by underwear?

okay so you know where i'm talking about. it seems that my underwear (doesn't matter what kind i wear) worsens the razor bumps there...like it's not just the bumps that are red, but the skin around it too...almost like a rash or rubbing of cloth. i really don't think i need a larger size, but idk what else could be causing this or if there's any other way to have a smooth shave (bikini line) without the bumps, i've tried veet in-shower gel, and it works to an extent, but according to the instructions, i can only use it every 72 hours and the first few times, it doesn't work too well.....suggestions?

I have a teori. Maybe there is something in your washing powder that you are allergy, or at least oversensitive, too. And then, because your skin is already annoyed from the rezor bumps, your allergy makes it alot worse. It the only thing I can come up with since it happens with no matter what underwear you wear. :-s

well first makesure when you shave that area it's in the direction of the hair's that can help keep irritation down

second you can try putting some baby oil or baby powder in that area to try to keep the irriation down

and yes you can try to switch to a detergent that's scent free.

also go to walmart and buy a pair of cheap undies in a larger size or look for some different material like cotton or the stretchy stuff
