fans and sore throats?

does anyone else get a sore throat when they have a fan blowing in the direction of their face at night? i get it and so does my boyfriend....he says it's because the dust is getting blown in your mouth, is that true? why does this happen? i like having the fan blow on me so i'm cooled down, but i don't like the sore throat after.....also my room is like always 25 degrees celsuis even with the fan and the cooling system (it sucks...air conditioning hasn't been put on yet in my dorm)...any suggestions

You can get a sore throat from sleeping with your mouth open, and if there is cold air blowing at you all night, yest that can cause your sore throat. Also, if you have air conditioner in your car blowing into your face all day long you will get a sore throat because there is no moisture in cold air.

the air drys you out lol

you can try to get a humidifier and put it near your bed (be careful some are very damp and if they are too close you could wake up wet in the morning)

can you aim the fan away from your face? like just at your bodies? or blow it up from your feet something like that?

a sore throat is a virul infection. it can be from any kind of bacteria that maybe your fan blew in.

The air dries out ur throat which makes it sore. Don't have the fan blowing directly onto ur face, just hav it moving from side to side or just on ur body
