have you ever used a sharpie as eye or lip liner?

i know this hair stylist who told me that's what she likes to use. it burns a bit at first she said but it lasts forever.

i think it's a cool idea since there are so many colors out there now but it kinda scares me lol well ladies i know one thing that permanent markers do NOT stay on forever. so that doesn't scare me. i know it would be best to have a steady hand or get someone i trust to do it on me

i also know if i use alcohol it will help it come off, lol again i guess i would like a liner that could go on as easy as a marker and last a while. i don't really want to worry about getting my face wet at work (duh dog groomer) and having black smears

i usually don't wear anything but oh well guess that's what i'm stuck with

if what cupkakebaby says is true then I would try it, hust be really careful you don't get it in your eye. and maybe when you first try it do it sometime when you won't have to go out in public anytime soon.

Get a professional to do it you could get blinded by getting it in your eye.

They don't stay on forever, that's true, but it can bleed if you cry or something, & when it bleeds, it bleeds purple. I would avoid using sharpie as an eyeliner. If you want a super shiney, dark look that lasts, I would recommend a Rimmel brand liquid liner pen. It doesn't run, lasts all day, & washes off with a little soap & water at the end of the night.

AH WFT, a sharpie is not made for the face. Yea it may burn...but Hello Common Sense here. Why not just purchase a liquid eyeliner that is SAFE for your eye in case you get it in your eye? You only have two eyes and I don't think you should risk f*cking it up.... ( just a a thought.) Alcohol is not MADE to remove any off your eyes. Please read the warning label.....(avoid eye areas...) hummm.....

anything on your skin has a big chance of getting absorbed into your bloodstream... and i wouldn't put that many chemicals near my eyes. liquid eyeliner works just as well, i presume.

oouch.

for some reason the idea etches me out.

mainly because i would be afraid the sharpie would get in my eye.
