badboy asked:

Will I ever have the cool hair i used to have?

On the begining i had this medium dark hair i loved so much, one day a new devise broke into my life *flat iron*, it start ruining my hair over and over

the next day i walk up, i was shocked, hopeless and so much tired!

i know back then the my hair became a massive jungle of bushes...

Since that day i quit using any hair styling products\ machines etc.. and i had my hair cut back then (i use shampoo and a deep conditioner though >.>)

Few months later (2-3 months) i didn't notice any progess, my hair is still mass as ever :S

Should i have it cut to shortest length possible?

will i ever have my lovely hair back ='(

my blood test was OK... but still maybe it's time to visit hair professional?

I'm bay btw

Thanks for listening,

Yeah flat irons suck , but at times they make your hair look so soft, but when you start using it a lot , your hair will not be healthy anymore , i think you should go to the hairdresser and tell him to cut alll the split ends, and yes he can do that! next thing you should do is buy the appropriate shampoo and the appropriate conditioner, so go to the pharmacy and ask them to give you a shampoo and a conditioner for healthy hair . finally you have to stop using the flat iron ! after doing that... congrats your healthy hair is back :D Take care of it :D

oh wow, flat irons or anything that applies heat to hair were never meant for daily use.. so yeah, learn your lesson and get a haircut. I'm afraid you'll have to get rid of ALL damaged portions of your hair so it makes it easier for the new healthy strands to grow back.

That's what I did...I straightened the shit out of my hair and after years of abuse it felt like straw and dead grass...I stopped straightening it COMPLETELY for several months, I got the dead ends cut off, and I stopped dying it. I started using Dove Intensive Repair, and moisturizers. Now my hair is healthy and soft :) I started straighting it again but in moderation. And I use Treseme Heat Tamer.

After showers, put after shower hair moisturizers to lock in moisture. It helps!

And cutting your hair as short as you can would help...Your hair grows faster when it's healthy anyway. And it would be TONNES TONNES TONNES better for you in the long run if you cut all the dead/damaged hair off.
