k so i just recently got highlights where i asked that i wanted caramel and so i got them but they look a bit bright to my normal original dark brown like in my pic

so how long does it take for highlights to tone down? like a week ,after a few washes?

k so i added a pic so you guys can tell me what you think of the colour ,personally i miss my dark hair lol

get a brown or blonde wash

you know one of those shampoo things (it's actually a temp dye) that you use everyday after you wash your hair and it will slowly add color to those lighter areas faster, and make it uniform again

i used this

and it worked to help darken my hair to even out when an old stylest dyed the bottom part of all my hair almost black (she was trying to cover the red tha thad almost completely grown out)

and it worked great

Well I had highlights that were slightly caramelly in my fringe, but she did them underneath the top layer of my hair so i didn't get aweful brown roots after a while, and they were vivid at first! but after the first few washes about a week they faded a bit, i was very don't worry.

now my hair is red :D

I had Highlights And They Where Carmel But It Took A While To Tone Them Down And They Didnt Grow Out For A Few Months. You Could Go To The Hairdressers, And Get Them To Strip The Highlights, And If You Want Highlights Again Get Them Slightly Darker Than Before.
