Hello! My name is Jessie and I'm a senior in high school. I'm half Korean and obsessed with all things Japanese (sans inappropriate manga, but you get the idea!). I love languages and am currently taking Spanish at my school (the only language offered) and learning a bit of Japanese on the side. More saduisahduiash dsau

Asian hair cutting tips, anyone?

I'm half Korean, and my hair's fairly typical "Asian hair", except for wavier. I'm afraid of cutting my hair too short because of poofing. Even layering is touchy.

Does anyone know of a good tutorial for cutting Asian hair? I do my own hair nowadays. There's a special way of cutting it to decrease volume, but not look choppy or have a million flyaways.

Tips? Vids? Tutorials?

Thanks! :] Something like this, Or this. :]

i would use thining shears under your top layer

you know those sizzors that have the comb like edge built on

leave your top layer pretty long then thin it from like the top of your ear to the bottom all around then leave the last layer long
