how can i improve how i look?

im 13 im fat, nd ugly:( im excersising nd im not eating much to try to loose weight, but it doesnt seem to be working...what can i do? i feel terrible :(

Oh my goodness sweetie, you are SO not fat. And like Blovelee said, when you're 13 everything pretty much just sucks. At least it feels that way. And if you're like me, it could last for years. It took a really huge tragedy in my family to make me realize that, I'm me. And now, I embrace it. It's great that you're exercising! To start getting into that habit at a young age is terrific. BUT, not eating, is not helping you. Did you know that when you skip meals you actually store fat? Your body goes into starvation mode, which means that it stores fat that is SO hard to burn off. If you feel like you need to lose 3-4 pounds just for you, eat right. Eat balanced meals, take vitamins, stay hydrated, and exercise every once in while.

The world was not mean to be full of skiny, bony, starving, sick, famous people. Don't let what you see in the magazines and on tv get to you. They are all truly so fake. Be real, be true, be you!

Use a lil makeup mayb? also do somethin to make u feel good about urself like say put a funky purple streak in ur hair lol. always makes me feel good to do my hair. :)

well youre not really fat, just chubby, try taking care of your skin, go on a diet, exercise reguarly, and dont worry, sometimes fat/chubby people look better than those who arent

From ur picture, i can see ur not fat OR ugly, but i no exactly how u feel. im thirteen, feel fat and ugly all the time (high five!!). Try wearing clothes that suit ur figure, and natural but kinda sexy make up to bring out ur facial features. i find pampering myself (facials, manicures etc) always make me feel more glamorous and pretty, so wen ur feelin blue, giv it a try!! hope this helps xx

Firstly you are not ugly. But if you want to increase your confidence the easiest way to do that is by trying something new .embrace a new trend or change your hair

Omg, girl you just need a lot of self confidence. You are really pretty and you are not fat! You have a really nice hourglass shape (which is pretty much what every girl wants). You want to know the truth? Alot of guys perfer curvy girls over really skinny girls. But don't starve yourself, that's the worst thing you can do!!!!! Just try to eat really healthy and exercise every other day. If you need help with that add me as a friend and we can talk. :) Just know that you are beautiful, because truthfully sweetie you are! Ummm....other things to do is just clean your face every day to prevent breakouts, maybe try a new hairstyle, take a day to do a little spa (put a face mask on, do your nail, etc)...and then make sure to look in the mirror every night and say "I'm beautiful". Also, hold your head up high, because that's what makes a girl attractive, it's their confidence.

Ok, first of all (and this is NOT meant to sound patronising) but when you're 13, everything feels like crap because of the changes you are going through. So whatever you feel is horrible, is over exagerrated. Secondly, the best way I have found to make myself look/feel better, is to keep an eye out! Buy a magazine (Look is really good, not sure if they sell it where you are) and make a point of checking out different looks. I'm not very good at designing outfits myself and I have to check magazines. Most mags do all stores so not very expensive. You can do the same with make up and hair. If I see a girl in the street who looks amazing (as long as she's of a similar build to me) I will remember what she is wearing and copy it. Thirdly, you are not ugly at all lovely, you just feel it because you're young and have no confidence. Don't stop eating, eat small amounts but at regular intervals every day and you will help your body understand what you are trying to make it do. Also, remember when you're young you store a lot of puppy fat, mine didn't fall off until I was 16. But seriously, check out some magazines, or the web, and go for a look you like, you'll feel much better. x x x

You're not fat, and YOU'RE NOT UGLY. It's waaay better to be curvy than stick thin. Excercise is really healthy so it's great that you're doing it. Keep it up! Whatever you do, don't stop eating. It's the worst thing you can do for your body! If you're worried about your health try eating healthily with lots of fruit and vegies, instead of unhealthy food. And be yourself! Feel good about being YOU instead of obsessing over how you look (you look gorgeous, by the way).
