I\'m using a hair colour remover - do I need the creme peroxide developer?

I'm going to be using Affinage Eraser and have also purchased a 6% 20 vol creme peroxide developer (the suggested amount for the product) with it. However on reviews of other similar products like Loreal Color Zap or Colorfix, people have said not to use the developer. I think I would be dying my hair straight after so do I need the developer?

Also, as I'm dying it afterwards, would my hair be more porous so would I need to dye a couple of shades lighter than the colour I want?

Thank you!

OMG girl it would save you so much more time to just go to a salon

and get it done right the first time

i work @ a salon, and we have a client who used a color stripper. we cannot even color her hair because of it. she needs to get continuous conditioning treatments and haircuts because she screwed her hair up. just go to a salon.

I'm using Affinage Eraser which is a salon product, also my auntie is a hairdresser and she's helping me do it.
