I have exceptionally thick coarse hair that needs to be thinned each time I have a trim. I have to wear my hair up all the time to keep it in some type of control. Have you heard of channelling & would it help. It is very wavy, shoulder length

i havent heard of channeling... what is it exactly?

i think your best bet would to keep moisture in your cuticle, keep your hair trimmed and ask your stylist for haircuts to help with your problem. :)

well the only channeling i know of has to do with ghost and spirits.

and the chemical straightening may actually help take out the wave and puff

straighteners can help

also don't use a hairspray that has water in it

never channel unless you tell the stylist to cut three to four inches from the scalp because it will make your hair bushier actually. just razor cut the edges of your hair. I would talk to your stylist about it before doing it its not a great thing to do to it.there should be less drastic ways to thin your hair out she can prob suggest
