Im tired of feeling depressed all the time, chronically tired and such. its annoying. i just want to go outside and enjoy it like other people! its very frustrating wanting to... but not doing it. in the end... i am just depressed and feel fat. ugh...

Do you think seeing a professional could help you? Is this something only you know about or does your mom, friends, anyone else notice this? I hope you consider the practice of changing thoughts I talked about in the other question. You're in so much more control over your life than you may realize.

You're the only person I've come across that shares the same mentality I had since I was 12 until this year. I only told my mom one week ago about this, and she didn't have a clue. I couldn't even talk about it without crying because it hurt so much thinking about the things I'd say to myself. It goes much deeper than the insecurities most people go through. I really do want to help you. I don't want you to spend all these years the way I did. It's not a life, it's suffocating and it's so lonely. I can only tell you what changed me, and hope this helps you too in any way. You can choose to believe in it or not. Only you can help yourself, but I'm hoping the best for you and keeping you in my thoughts. I'll be here for you, regardless of whether you want me to be or not.

I think you should go see a clinical professional in a counselling/theraputic field. Here's the reasons why. Your thoughts seem to circulate a lot on your weight, more than average, especially more than the average girl your age. You are depressed because of the way you are seeing yourself, but this is getting in the way of enjoying daily activities and being outside. In your last post you stressed at how negatively you see yourself and that in and of itself is not a good mentality to be in.

Not to frighten you but..the way you described it what instantly came to mind is a disorder a lot of females seem to get, although males get it just as much .

What it sounds like to me is :
Body Dysmorphic Disorder
definitioin: The sufferer may complain of several specific features or a single feature, or a vague feature or general appearance, causing psychological distress that impairs occupational and/or social functioning, sometimes to the point of severe depression and anxiety, development of other anxiety disorders, social withdrawal or complete social isolation, and more.

BDD is a chronic illness, and symptoms are likely to persist, or worsen, if left untreated.

Although you may feel like no one understands you, but if you want people to help and people to understand, you have to tell them. Helping yourself is difficult to do when you are trying to fight your own way of thinking, that's why counselling, support and other treatments from people outside of yourself is better than doing it alone. If you don't , it could get worse and you could even fall into a cycle of eating disorders which will only yield pain.

You can feel better about yourself, you just need to change your outlook, but as you already found out yourself, it's hard to do it alone and that's why you need others to help you. Your family may not understand at first, so i say it's best to speak to a counselor . They will take your words seriously, and then the seriousness will be evident . Because this could lead to worse's best to get it fixed a.s.a.p so you can be happy .

no, nobody else knows. therefore, a professional would not help. because then someone would have to know. i try to change my thoughts... but it doesnt help
