What do you think of the models in the fashion industry?

Models that are to thin look unhealthy and well that is what is the norm so they say?

What do you all think?

The normal human being is actually about 140-150 pounds at the height of 5'3"-5'5", according to the Roman days. My friends are 115 and lower..and models are even thinner than them! Compared to a human sized sculpture of the Roman times, models ARE way too thin and ARE way too tall! Don't quote me on my first sentence, art class was a longgg time ago!

My personal opionion...they're there to look good. We can't change their aspirations and their veiws. We might think they're unhealthy or too thin, and as they very well might be, the mind is a powerful thing. The mind is greedy...and it wants, and wants, and wants. It says, "If I was just a little bit smaller, I'd look better in a smaller dress." I've been there. So, to "be there to look good" the mind NEEDS to be smaller.

If you imagine something...and then see that image in reality..your mind can't depict the difference. You could imagine monkeys flying around the room that very well ISN'T, but your mind doesn't know that. Models are similar...they don't see how thin they are, because they imagine the essential fat they have and think it is TOO fat!

So, haha, bottomline [I'm not laughing at the models...I'm laughing how much I like to talk]: yes, I think they are too thin and look unhealthy. Some, though, I think are the right size. Every once in a while I come across an unfortunate TOO-fat-thinker, and I'm upset..but I think they're getting better. Maybe they can't resist that wonderful, fatty-saturated McDonalds food on their way home from the photo shoot anymore. :P

Haha, I can't....

Go fries and ketchup!

I think that this is a bad influence on the young of today. Many starve themselves deliberately just to try and stay slim like the models.

Wonder why the young ones today have to "copy cat" other and not think for themselves or think about what is right, especailly for their good health.
