I prefer my natural nails with a little bit of a gel overlay on my toes.

I personally like acrylics, but my aunt has gels and she loves them. Acrylics tend to run a little cheaper and seem to be a little tougher, but if you prefer a rounded tip gels are prolly the better way to go, for a square tip acrylics are pretty good. There is alot out there on the net on the differences between gels and acrylics... I also think that acrylics can turn yellow if you go sunless tanning in a tanning bed. if you want to go the acrylic route there are solar nails that are VERY similar to acrylics that dont turn yellow in the tanning beds. Hope this helps a little.

:)) I am blessed with very strong nails, and thay are very long and hard to break, so I prefer that, adn then go and get them shaped in the way i like them X) I have tried gels and arcrylics but neither looked or felt as great as my naturals
