What makes hair GROW?!

I've short hair, want it longer. I've read that heat stimulates hair growth, but I've also read the too much heat damages hair (blowdrying, for example).

So I've started wearing a hat to sleep. To keep my head warm.

While I know there is a limit, genetically, what can I do, to make my hair grow faster?

Sadly enough, you can't make your hair grow. You can only try to keep your ends from breaking and keeping your hair healthy!

Yes, blowdrying and straightening KILLS your hair! I couldn't honestly say that heat, in small doses, stimulates growth, but I couldn't imagine it would.

You can take in extra geletin to provide vitamins for

your hair. Geletin also strenthens hair, so it'll be a win-win. Geletin is found in gummy items like gummy bears, dots, jell-o.

To prevent split ends, don't use heat. And if you do? Haircare products! What applying heat does is dry out your hair. And like the desert does with it's cracks in the sand, so does your hair. So you have to apply moisture! I just got done deep-conditioning my hair. It makes it silky, applies moisture, and improves my hair all around. I use a product called BioFusion. But that's extremely expensive. Generally, if you go to Walgreens in the hair product isle, just look for "deep-conditioning". You wet your hair, apply the proudct, leave in for 45 min, and then take your normal shower.

Also, Garnier Frutis has leave-in conditioning to leave in the day, so your hair doesn't get static-y, and you're improving your hair at the same time. You'll notice the texture difference too. :)

Hey heat doesn't mean the blow dryer one. 8-|

That means hot oil massage. Just heat a little bit oil (coconut/olive oil, and make sure it's warm not untouchable one:|)...then massage the oil on you scalp. After 1 hour wash it off. Also brush your hair at night, before going to bed, upside down. Bend over and brush it I meant./:)
