Cheer Tryouts! (Probably Miscategorized)

Can I ask... What's the most important thing about cheer tryouts? I know every place is different, but is there a sort of general, catch-all specific thing you need to have, or know, or do?

I just want an excuse to get to wear that cute skirt! Alright.. but I've never been to a tryout in my life. What's it like? Again, is there any sort of thing that Everyone will ask, universally?

so im telling you from what i see in movies not in real life because we dont have cheerleaders in malta. but basically if you mix a bit of ballet, hip hop and gymnastics and a load of confidence you have a great chance of being accepted. and wear whatever you like.

ok im a cheerleader and you need to know all your jumps:like a herkie, toetouch, pike, etc.

you have to know a fiew gymnastic skills, a fiew important ones are cartwheel, roundoff, and a handstand!

and the rest depends on what kind of level, so do some research ask some people that go to the place that your trying out at!and like go on google or something!!!

and rember to have fun!!!oh and i almost for got one of the most important things, your facial expressions!!!:))

just be yourself. i know cheerleaders have that stereotype of being fake, and while that may be true, the ones that are respected in the end are true to themselves. but other facial expressions and have confidence...i hadn't cheered since 4th grade, tried out for cheerleading my freshman yr of college, and made it. so u'l l do fine. good luck!
