Don't follow the "trend".

My understanding of "scene" is all about being different. Having your own identity and not being fashionably clustered into a group. Its mind boggling how so many people think by claiming themselves as "scene" means that they are rebelling against todays utopian society. If being "scene" stands for being different then why does everyone look like clones of one another? According to SceneXSkittles: "Scene is about setting a style not following a trend.". I agree but with that being said why is it that to be scene means youre easily classified by brightly colored skinny leg jeans, teased haircuts, and band t's?

Just sayin, whats your opinion on this?

i agree with you, so much.. I think its because scene is the style right now so everyone wants to go along with the trend. i also think that people think it looks good, so they want it.. Its hard to find out, who is really scene now..

Scene is cool in its own way, But it can def be classified as a "trend." Being scene isn't rebelling.

i'm sorry but i never heard of scene until i got on here and the word scene itself makes me thing of someone trying to be in the 'scene' or spotlight, some trying to stand out and be fasionable

to me being unique will always be 'unique' not scene

and if you really look at scene kids that's what alot of them are about so if you were scene and you still consider yourself an individual i would just let people know you're not scene, your unique : P

exactly, so "scene" is a trend. now whats confusing to me is why do most scene kids claim to be so different and unique if they are clearly following a trend. its a nice style and image but i just dont see the "uniqueness" about it.
