red&oily skin?

my skin always seems to be really red, especially on my nose and cheeks. also, my skin is really oily and i seem to get more spots than usual.

is there anyway to reduce the redness of my face, and treat the oilyness?

thankQ in advance(:

using pore cleaning strips will reduce spots as they remove oil, dead skin and seabum from the skin.

cleaning face masks from clerasil, or ones sold on herbal shops may also help.

i have red, oily skin too and this is what i do.

i also use No7 hot sauna mask (buy it from boots), it is amazing, it has a talky base to it so keeps oil under control well. it heats up when on damp skin, opening pores and cleaning, its quite clever really.

face powder can also aid, (make up wise).

1

Use ice to reduce any swelling associated with redness. This is especially important when you've popped a pimple.

2

Eat less spicy foods. The heat from the food might be causing inflammation on your face.

3

Stay out of the sun. If you must go outside, wear sunscreen and protective clothing to protect your skin from the harmful UVA and UVB rays.

4

Dry your face using very gentle and soft towels. Pat instead of rubbing.

5

Use organic and natural products to moisturize your face daily.

I recommend that you make use of oil-free cosmetics.Drinking lots of water has its wonder for the skin too.You may check out http://www.clearclinic.com/ and you may also give Clear Clinic a visit.
