it FADES away too fast. whats an inexpensive way to maintain my bright red hair and slow down the fading...its not as red anymore and i am kind of depressed.. :( but i loved it.

ULTA has clip in extensions too

and look in my lists under 'stuff i use' for a brunette hair gloss. you can buy it in a red shade it's basicly an everyday use color enhanser it will add just a bit of color when you use it in the shower. put it on after you shampoo and let it set while you wash your face and stuff then rince if off before you get out.

red is the fastest fading color, unfortunately. you can't do very much to change how fast it fades. fading depends on the porosity of your hair, the elasticity, etc.

i would suggest trying different brands of red coloring dye. if you do box color- GO TO A SALON! box color sucks. if you go to a salon, try asking your stylist about any other kinds of color you can use to make it last longer. stylists usually want you to be happy, so just call him/her up and ask.
