How do i keepmy front bangs from flipping up and getting wavy? i want them straight! help?!

I have wavy hair with front bangs.. i was going for an edgy look, and it looks really good when straight, but it's such a hassle to straighten it everyday, and when i do it doesn't even last the whole day the slightest bit of wind makes my bangs curly again. how do i keep my bangs straight and edgy and prevent them from flipping outward. this is how it looks when wind hits it... it's terrible i look so bad in this pic. and sometimes the bangs do a little flip thing that's wierd.. i'll put up that pic too, there's the flippy bang thing...

please help!

k.. blow dry it.. and just before you straighten it spray some style gel (NOT hair spray) on your bangs. then straighten it but hold it with a comb straight until it cools. hair can be styled and moved when its hot but once its cooled its usually stuck. so yeah. styling gel or spray. NOT hair spray.

hope i helped :D
