How can i ask my mom in a non akwardly way if i can have a boyfriend?

Im not saying someone asked me out. But just in case. My mom says for me to hav a boyfriend a she has to meet hime-_-. I'm 14. No one does that. That's why I'm asking. So I don't have to say " oh. Idk. I have to ask my mom first" when a boy asks me out. So how can I ask her so I don't feel weird nor does she.

We'll... you can spend a good quality time with your mom and then once you feel that your mom really likes your presence and your chats with her you can tease her those situation... what if blah... blah... blah... after that for sure your mom will talk more about it than you expected.... but definitely she's not angry.... hehehehe

You should get her loosened up and talk to her about school, then coyly smile and say "You know Mom, there's this boy at school and I think he really likes me." And that should get her tipped off onto the subject. :). And it works whether you know a boy who likes you or not. lol. Just don't try to fake a name! I tried that and one day Mom asked me about him about a week later...and I said "Who's that?". Epic failure. lol. She blew it off but I was still embarrassed.

Heres what i did back in my high school days. I just told my parents that a group of us were going to the movies (this was the truth) and this guy asked me to go. Then like a week later I said he wants to take me for a milkshake (also the truth) and they were ok with it.
The most important thing is to be honest! and break to to them slowly, you are there little girl and all.

I'm fourteen. And people do meet eachother's parents. When they're in for something long term. My boyfriend met my mom, and I met his parents. Its really not a big deal.

My mom originally told me I had to wait until I was sixteen. I dated a seventeen year old a few months ago and she didn't say anything. & I've been dating a 16 year old for a month.. and she likes him.

When a boy you like asks you out, you can say yes. Your parents can't control your love life. But I would wait until it lasts at least five days before you tell your mom.
I wouldn't say you need her permission.
But hey, thats just me.
