When I apply sunscreen for tanning to protect from UV rays, do I keep having to apply it to prevent further skin damage? If I do, how often? Every 10 minutes or so...? Please Answer!!! xoxo

Hey, I've been tanning lately & I noticed that usually my face & neck has a lighter tan than the rest of my body. Parts of my body's dark & I really wish my face & neck had the same color! How come it doesn't get that much tan? And my tummy is like the darkest area. Is that because we have different skin in certain parts of our body?
