I'm 14, starting high school on Monday. I'm scared. I wanna make new friends but I'm too shy and insecure. I'm afraid I'll be alone and that I will have no friends. The whole school had to come in classrooms week ago to meet their teachers and when I walked in, everybody was staring at me and I don't know why. My brother (twin) will go to that school with me but I don't think he's interested in hanging out with his sister anymore because he's a teenager. There will also go my ex best friend who I haven't hanged out with for a year and I'm afraid to look her in the eyes. She texted me few days ago, all of a sudden though. I was happy about that because I'm not over our friendship even though it's been a year. I don't know if she's over or not (probably yes). Anyway, I need advice how to make new friends and talk to people. How should I behave? Or dress? I need a way to fit in. I don't wanna seem crazy or freaky so people will run away from me. Please help me or give me some advice
