would choppy layers with curly hair look good? anyone have pictures?

i'm doing a 30 day song challenge on facebook and one of the days is 'a song that describes you' and i cannot think of a thing! i like vintage clothes, old movies, literature. i'm a bit of a nerd/smarty pants but i'm also really girly and love make up and clothes and hair lol! any ideas?

i looked in the mirror yesterday and it hit me that i look like i'm still in middle school with my long hair and the fact that i'm only 5'1".,this is not cool since i'm graduating this year. can someone send a picture of a haircut that will make me look older? right now i just have long hair with bangs so...it looks very middle school
