Toothpaste for acne spot?

So last time when I use this on my pimple, it sort of burned and left black spot on that place. I used it overnight. Don't know what went wrong because I've been using this for a long time ago. Maybe the toothpaste was bad or something? Anyway, recently I was talking about this with my mom and she said it also works on acne spot. She meant it reduce the spot. Which I didn't know. I only knew that it stops the pimples but fading a spot? Is it true?

I know that toothpaste can dry the pimple so yeah I guess that it's true. in a few days the pimple should start to fade because it's drying :)

lol i haven't heard of the hickey thing

i can see a black spot if maybe the area was irritated or squeezed and it formed a scabbie thing

you can also use desitin the cream with ZINC OXIDE in it that's good for baby's bottoms the zinc will help take red out and dry it up.

and the toothpaste only works when it's the actual paste not the gel (and even then it can be touch and go)
