how ever you like it. I usually match my shades,but if you have french pedicure you can have any shade in your manicure. and and vice versa. But ofc you don't have to wear them in the same shade.

I say go for what suits you. My fingers and toes almost never match! I usually put designs on my fingers and put fun colours on my toes b/c it's an awkward angle to try adding designs and stuff (i'm going for the dyi thing).
But even just for a solid colour, I say match or mismatch is totes cool. No one is going to point out that they don't match b/c it really doesn't matter. There's no rule really, be creative and expressive!

Personally, I only match fingers and toes if I'm going to a party or wedding or something where I want to coordinate with my dress. That's not like a must, it's just my personal preference.
