I think metallic colors are great for work cause even though they look awesome for parties they're still pretty neutral looking if you stick to a silver or gold or even a pink with a hint of shimmer. I dunno to me I still think they fit the professional wear so I would definitely wear it to work .

I think they're definitely okay for work! Not really out there colors though, like BabyBlue said, maybe try to stick to silver gold or pinks (: even red would pretty good depending on what youre wearing (:
