Find out how to make your own exfoliating body scrub with these easy recipes: body scrubs with sea salt, brown sugar, oatmeal and essential oils.
Using scrubs also stimulate blood circulation and help getting rid of cellulite.

Homemade body scrubs are cheap and natural, without any chemicals or preservatives.
All you need is to pair a naturally abrasive ingredient (sugar or salt) with a soothing and moisturizing base (oils); also adding essential oils will make your skin smell great for hours.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of sea salt
- ½ tbsp of ground ginger or 1 tbsp of fresh grated ginger
- ½ tbsp of ground cinnamon
1 cup of olive or almond oil.
Mix all ingredients and scoop out a small amount and rub into dry areas of your body - use it before the shower or during.
Ingredients:
- ¾ cup of brown sugar
- ½ cup of ground oatmeal
- ¼ cup of honey some sort of base oil (you can use jojoba, coconut, almond, apricot or even olive oil).
- a dash of essential oils (lavender, bergamot, lemon, tea tree, grapefruit, rosemary, vanilla, ylang ylang, etc. whatever works for you).
Mix the brown sugar, ground oatmeal and honey in a container. Cover the mix with base oil until the sugar is saturated, add a dash of essential oil and it's ready for use.
Ingredients:
-
½ cup baking soda
-
½ cup of ground oatmeal
- 2 bags of green tea
-
1 cup of goat milk
-
½ cup of jojoba oil.
Mix the baking soda, ground oatmeal, goat milk and jojoba oil. Cut the tea bags and add the content to the mix. The amount of scrub will be sufficient for two uses, so keep it in the fridge and use it in a week.
