How to wax eyebrows at home
Waxing the eyebrows has been a trend in the cosmetic industry for a while now. People who have tried it fell in love with this procedure because it is quicker, easier and less painful (I've tried it myself and I am never going back to tweezing that's for sure).
A lot of cosmetic salons specialize in eyebrows waxing but you can do it yourself as well in the comfort of your own home using wax strips or hot wax.
Before you get started waxing your own eyebrows there are some things you should know about how to wax eyebrows properly. Here are some tips to help you with it:
If you use wax strips apply hot air from the blow dryer of warm them between your palms for a bit, so the wax can adhere better to the tiny hairs.
If you are using hot wax apply just a bit on the spatula so it doesn't drip and you can apply it where you want to only. Use a small brush if you can, it will make the application process easier.
When using hot wax make sure the wax is not too hot so you don't get burned. Try it on the inside of your wrist to see if it's the right temperature.
Apply the wax in the direction of hair growth and remove the wax by pulling in the opposite direction.
If you are a novice, draw with a white eyeliner pencil the desired shape of the eyebrow and apply the wax just under or above the lines, to you make sure you won't ruin their shape.
You may not remove all the hairs by waxing, so use a pair of tweezers to pluck the remaining ones.
Once you try it you might find it easy and enjoyable to remove the excess hairs for the perfect eyebrows.
Wax removes even the smallest and finest hairs that are very hard to pluck with the help of tweezers so give it a try and see if you like it.
