1. What's the biggest complaint people have after they leave the hairdresser? Ask anyone and the answer is always the same - "the stylist didn't listen to what I wanted!" Our stylists offer this advice - always take in a photo of the style you want. Although your hairdresser might be experienced, they (unfortunately) aren't a mind-reader. Bringing in a photo or two of the exact style and colour you're hoping to achieve is the easiest way to make sure you're both on the same page.
2. Always use professional products. Although they are more expensive than the products you can buy at the chemist or supermarket, they are actually better value and better for your hair. You'll use a smaller amount and achieve the same results, therefore saving money in the longrun. Cheaper products contain ingredients which are harsh on your hair; professional products nurture and protect your locks, maximising hair health and shine.
3. Want to keep your hair looking great after you've left the salon? Ask your stylist to run you through how to style it at home. A good professional stylist should talk you through the right products for your hair, to help maintain the style in between visits.
