How to live a healthy lifestyle

If you’re reading this article I want to ask you one simple question, do you want to live a happy life? Pause for a moment and think about it, as far as I am concerned I know one thing “Health is wealth” Having a healthy lifestyle is the top secret for living a happy and satisfying life.

If you too want to be happy come join me, if you want to live a joyful life with your family. No matter what your goals are, having a good health is one significant factor that connects all of these things together. It’s because I believe that success and health are interlinked and if you happen to ignore any one out of this two, you’re doomed.

So, grab a cup of coffee, sit down on your couch and read this article.

Have Good Sleep

Good sleep is such a significant aspect of your life, if you don’t get proper sleep you won’t have energy throughout the day. It hampers your overall life in a very negative way.

There are certain good benefits of sleeping well and you must know them, I have mentioned few below.

Proper sleep helps your brain to process new information into your memory by strengthening your brain. Research proves that students who take proper sleep perform better in comparison to students who take lot of stress before exams.

Good sleep also help you to lose fat and keep your metabolism level in check, whereas lack of sleep may result in excess weight gain.

It’s because your body is not able to handle and process carbohydrates the same way in sleep deprived people because your hormone levels change. Your brain starts to crave glucose in order to counter fatigue and exhaustion.

Less sleep can result in anxiety, mood swings and sometimes even lead to hypertension. Over time this may turn up into a chronic disease and you may observe some unwanted symptoms like getting angry on little things, low patience level and lack of focus at work.

So guys to avoid this things and live a healthy lifestyle better sleep well and look after yourself.

Have Healthy Diet

Many people realize that it is significant to eat the right food, but do you seriously know what a perfect balanced diet is?

Eating the right food doesn’t mean that you eat only dry fruits or only vegetables or only sea food, what I want to convey is you need to have a perfectly balanced diet to have a perfectly healthy life style.

A perfectly balanced diet is something that helps your overall body with all the necessary vitamins, minerals and nutrients. It has to suite the bodies need and wants. Meaning the food that you eat must help your cells, tissues and organs to grow properly in the perfect order.

On the other hand, deficiency of these vital nutrients hampers your health and you may get prone to variety of diseases leading to multiple of health issues like, loss of weight, tiredness, lower immunity level and you will also observe that you catch more colds and suffer from the flu when the flu bug is around. It proves that the resistance level of your body is going down due to lack of well balance diet.

What is a Perfectly Balanced Diet?

In order to have a well balance diet you need to consume food from all the major food groups. And whatever food you consume has to be in the right proportions to each other so that they foster your body growth efficiently and correctly.

You need to understand that your body needs to consume a certain specific number of calories each day to maintain a healthy weight and this cannot be skipped.

Once you get into habit of consuming food from all the main food groups and stop eating foods that contain nutrients but actually provide no nutritional value, you will be on your way to eating a healthy diet. Best example to begin with is to ignore foods that are rich in sodium, saturated fats and sugars.

Start by eating a healthy and bit heavy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Do not skip breakfast and try to eat a bigger lunch and eat less in the dinner. That’s the perfect diet chart you must follow.

I have seen many people skipping breakfast, eating ordinary in lunch, but taking a very large dinner which is not all good. Eating heavy at night is not all at all recommended as it will result in your belly coming out by increasing your weight.

Do Regular Exercise

Regular exercise is really a very crucial part of having a healthy life style. It is best way to revitalize your energy level. Doing regular exercise helps you to build more physical endurance, stamina and energy. You will find that you are not as tired and that you feel better and happier for no apparent reason at all.

No doubt when you initially begin with exercise you brain feels it is stressful. It’s because you’re not used to it and when you do, you observe that your heart rate raises and your muscles have to work harder.

Human brain is wired up to avoid pain and run after pleasure and that’s absolutely normal. But once you develop a habit of routine exercise you’ll start loving it, as now the brain and the body gets habituated to it.

When you exercise daily your body releases a protein called a Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor or BDNF in short. This protein helps as a shell to protect your memory neurons, which is the reason why you start to feel more calm, relaxed and happy after exercising.

When you exercise there’s also a chemical called Endorphins which is released by the body releases to combat stress. This works by blocking the feeling of pain and minimize any discomfort you may be feeling. Endorphins can also make you feel happy and many people refer to this as an endorphin high.

This is the reason why people who exercise at least 3 to 4 times a week are more productive and happier in comparison to people who never do exercise.

Fight Stress To Improve Your Mental Health and Happiness

Stress is not good for your health and to be honest stress is something that is natural and we all experience in our lives almost every day.

There are various reasons for you to be dealing from stress. You may be having a stressful job, you may have gone through a traumatic incident in past. Conflicts, fights, finance or debts are also some of the common reasons that can lead to unwanted stress in your life and eventually disturbing your daily course of life.

Stress is considered as a silent killer and if you are dealing with stress, it’s significant for you to find the right way to counter stress and remove it from your life. There are various symptoms of stress and if you’re dealing any of the following issues mentioned below please do ignore, your ignorance today may prove fatal tomorrow.

Here are some of the symptoms of stress:

  • Headaches
  • Difficulty in sleeping
  • Upset stomach
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Anger issue
  • Not happy with your current situation or job

To be honest there are many things and there’s no end to the list. These are just few examples.

If you’re someone who is dealing with stress related issues. All you need is 15 to 30 minutes of ‘me’ time ever single day. This could be time where you read a book quietly, take a relaxing bubble bath or go for a walk. Utilize this time to do something positive for yourself. It will make a huge difference to your mental wellbeing.

You may also include some meditation in your daily routine or take up Yoga. Both of these things can help reduce stress, increase your flexibility and allow you to feel relaxed and happy so you can sleep better at night.

To be honest there are many, many ways to live a healthy life but I have mentioned only few here. But I believed if you can include the above tips in your routine life, trust me guys nothing in this world can stop you from having a healthy life style and happy life.

When you’re happy your brain functions smoothly, research has proved that your brain functions much better when you are happy. By being in a positive state of mind you will be 31% more productive at work and there is a 40% chance that you will get that next promotion.
