So that Insanity thing....yeah I'm sure it's going to be worse. Today I did the fit test and if you look at my picture below you can see the sweat glistening off my face. It felt really nice to push myself today and to get it started. It's actually supposed to be a Monday start day, but I don't like starting anything on Mondays. If anyone else is doing it or has done it you can see how your first fit test compared to mine.
Switch Kicks: 83
Power Jacks: 45
Power knees: 96
Power jumps: 25
Globe Jumps: 9
Suicide Jumps: 13
Push-Up Jacks: 19
Low Plank Obligue: 31
I took about an extra 1-2 minute break between all those power ones and after the globe jumps. I was very grateful when we got to the push-up jacks and low plank obligue. My fabulous Dance for the Actor Professor Jennifer Hobson showed us those. I couldn't do the regular push ups because I have very weak wrist, but I did do 5 reg, then went into plank position and did more. You see I made sure to at least get my 30 low plank obligues in!! Considering that was a part of my dance final I made sure I hit that mark!!
Part of me really wants to do the fit test again today, but my body is saying RESSSTTT! lol.
I really want my brother to do this with me. I enjoy working out with him and he really challenges me, but Shaun is a great motivator too. Plus I keep hearing Jennifer's voice while I'm working out too which helps HAHAHAH.
I know I will have to fight for the body I want. I bought a bunch of salad makings, fruits, lean meat and veggies today. I'm trying my best to cut out dairy at least for the first two-four months and then to limit it afterwards. Water is my best friend!
Thank you to all my friends, family, and extended family who continue to believe that I can do amazing things. Now I need to go down a bottle of water and let my legs rest!
