Hey ladies! You want to get the most out of your shave, waxing, or hair removal cream? Well, i got the tips, tricks and best products to use and share!
Fast removal: Shaving with the classic razor! To avoid irritaion, shave in the natural direction of your hair which is usually downwards, then shave upwards for a closer shave. Some hairs will grow in diffent directions, so you may need to adjust the razor at each section. Be sure to change razors, because after awhile they become dull, which lead to nicks on your skin and a rash sometimes. Remember to shave on your ankles to haha!
Results that last: Waxing! Yes it hurts, but it makes you really smooth, and for longer too. Half an hour before getting a wax you can take a pain killer. You can also sprinkle on talc powder before waxing, the powder makes the wax stick to you hair, not the skin! Also don't wax on your period, when you are on your period, your pain tolerence goes down, so getting a wax on your period will hurt twice as much! ouch!
No pain: Hair removal cream/gel! This lasts about one week. This dissolves hair at the roots, but the chemicals inside are much too harsh to use in all over your legs, so use it on small patches of hairs that didn't get shaved-waxed.
- Start small, don't try to get as much hair at once as you can, you will get smoother results if working in smaller sections.
-Exfoliate your hairs with a body scrub before shaving, so that you will get all the dead skin cells that clog up your pores on your skin. The dead skin can trap hairs below the surface, and make your razor clogged up.
-prep the skin by bathing in warm water first. This opens pores to soften the hair making it easier for the hairs to come off.
-When finished put a moisterizing cream on the area that had the hair just removed. To make legs feel smoother and silkier.
Razor: None other than the famous Gillette Venus embrace.
Waxing: A salson or for at home, Sally Hansen naturally bare waxing strips for body.
Hair removal cream/gel: Nair cool gel.
Shaving cream: Anything thats right for your type of skin!
