The Hunger Games Movie Review

Hey guys. Well I just saw the Hunger Games Movie, and here are my thoughts on it.

*I have read all three of the hunger games trilogy books, i'm a big fan ;)*

At the start i thougt it was pretty boring, some of the actors/actresses were not very good at acting lol. Some displayed fake/over the top emotions. Heres what i thought on the actors/actresses.

Katniss Everdeen/Jennifer Lawrence: For the most part she was pretty good, i think her looks suited the part very well, the only thing that bugged me about her appearance was how big her bosom was lol, in the book, katniss was almost as flat as a board, but Jenn had at least a C cup or more haha. But at time her acting was kinda swaying. Sometimes her emotions/actions were kinda fake looking. Plus She seemed kinda boring. But i guess her character was suppose to be kinda boring. Her outfits for the capitol made her look stunning, quite beautiful.

Peeta Mellark/Josh Hutcherson: For his appearance, i thought he looked pretty good as Peeta, his blonde hair makes him look very nice ;). His acting was well done, he knew how to act scared, fearful, sick, happy, in love, and sad. I really liked how he could look so hurt emotionally sometimes, like at the reaping, or on the car/train.

Effie Trinket/Elizabeth Banks: Her looks were amazing, straight out of the capitol. I honestly never thought that could be Elizabeth. Her acting was well done, as i expected. She has done many other movies, and is an experienced actress. The only thing i didn't like it how exaggerated her acent was at times. But she pulled it off, and Effie's personality.

Haymitch Abernathy/Woody Harrelson: Great performance, he looked the part, though i thought he could do better at acting more drunk. Good humor too.

Cinna/Lenny Kravitz: Great as well, but you could tell he wasn't an experienced actor. He looked the part. Loved the gold eyeliner.

Rue/Amandla Stenberg: Her acting was just right, she was little, looked weaker then the rest, but had advantages. She pulled it off very well. She was so cute/pretty too.

Seneca Crane/Wes Benley: He looked the part, played a leader well. Loved the beard. But his smile and acting seemed too fake.

President Snow/Donald Sutherland: Loved how he looked, the way his voice sounded. You could tell he played an evil old man ;). Again, experienced actor, so his acting was great. He makes a great president Snow.

Career tributes: All of their emotions seemed fake. But their fighing skills seemed very scary, which was great!

Gale Hawthorne/ Liam hemsworth: Very good looking guy, fit Gale just right. His acting was pretty good, he could show strength, sadness, and secretly in love emotions.

Primrose Everdeen/Willow Shields: Looked the part, her emotions of fear, and sadness/the screaming she did was great. Loved it.

The movie seemed kinda boring to me, and not what i expected. But it still satisfied me. It did pretty good for not alot of experienced actors/actresses. The diffrent district looks, and the capitol looks, fit the movie well. The clothing was right, and excellent. The cities fitted just right, like district 12, and how it looked poor. And the capitol and how it looked high tech, and rich. At times it made me scared, and one part near the end made me almost jump out of my seat. The graphics seemed realistic, and the wounds on people were good.

For sure it was a ride, exciting, the actors/actresses were the big turnoff for me.

I give it... 3 1/2 stars!

If you've seen the movie or even read the books. Tell me what you thought. :)

Good day!
