Because Most of us, aren't fans of hardcore makeup that's potentially damaging to the skin in the long run (*raises hands*) The
alternative is just to take care of your skin , while being artistic with your eyes/eye makeup. They are the windows to the soul
right? Decorated windows make much more of a statement, but they don't necessarily make you who you are. In other words,
even if you wear eye makeup or any makeup in general, you're more than what you put on. But motivational speech aside, get
your artistic juices flowing and get out your palettes, for this blog is about..... Eyemake (mainly inspirational pictures and how to
get yourself going with replicating fashion /couture eye makeup on yourself). With tutorials as well !
Disclaimer: This blog is mainly for those who want to do more artistic things with their makeup. If you want natural makeup
tutorials, then i'd suggest you wait till I do an article? Or youtube it or google them yourself, because sadly, I have no pics
of natural eye make here. Lo and behold, most my pictures have been sourced and given credit to the people who indeed
made them. If you're interested , google their name/source and you should get the link .

First, it's best to decide on a look you really want to try out for your eyes. Don't be
afraid to get creative or look unique, no one said you have to make it extreme. Just
tweak it to your liking so that it is an inspiration your look is based on.
In this example, the look will be a dior replication/inspired look by Stalin's Electric (my gosh
i'm promoting this blog like crazy :S)
The look : it's kinda intimidating on these models. To be honest, I wouldn't ever base
makeup on this, but I don't think I have creative vision.. Once you've acquired the look
simply get whatever colours and materials you want/need. Make sure you legitimately
analyze the look. Where one color meets another, where they end, etc. If there's false
lashes added, and where they're added. If there's a cluster of glitter, whatever. Just
take that picture and study it like mad.

Once you've gathered the material, studied the look, and so on if the look is simple enough you can just
skip to doing it yourself. Which will bring you to the result
If the look is complicated, then it's best to make a sketch:

with a sketch you should be able to visually see how you should do the makeup, it's best to actually use
your palette to see how coulours would blend.
The result should look similar to the drawing itself :P
Now then, a couple of tutorials:

(what i like about her eyemake is the use of color in contrast to her hair and skin)
random pictures for inspiration starts.....NOW:
Of course the animal print, cheetah spots, zebra stripes and glitter also helps.
glitter, sequens and the likes can only help enhance a look if done correctly. If you're
going for a dark look on your eye makeup it's best not to use hearts and glitter and whatnot...
it sort of...goes against all things dark if you put up pink hearts everywhere..
on that note, try to use colors and aethetics as well as themes when coming up with a
way to do your eye makeup. The sky's the limit. (thought input: I love this picture
because the contacts, the saree, the eye shadow everything is matching, it's almost
On aesthetics, what look are you trying to convey and what feeling do you want to show?
Those could be two thoughts to have when you seriously have the time to make those
eyes up. Honestly, you'd be surprised how well things will turn out if you think about them (works
well in real life situations ) . On this picture, I enjoy the emptiness of both her expression, eyes (most likely
contacts lol) and makeup which is dark in contrast to her white clothing, which makes me think a
bit gothic here. Either way, it's creepy, like it's supposed to be, so she did it well . O_O
lastly, drawing. When all else fails, you can still draw on an inspired work of art.
In the picture, the inspiration , can you tell? Is a swan. It's drawn so delicately,
I actually really admire it.
So ladies, get whatever you need to create your masterpiece, and don't be shy to go
a bit extreme. You actually might have a bit of fun. In the end, you should do whatever
you feel like doing and not let anyone (not even me D:) tell you what to do. I'm only
here to give my .02 cents on certain things XD. I'd love to hear feedback though.
