Why you need a tankless water heater for your home?

You should be informed that the second most energy-consuming appliance right at your kitchen is your water heater. For example, you will pay about $520 per year from using your standard 50-gallon electric water heater at 10.6$ per KWh.

And if you are residing at the north of US then you will pay higher when consuming your hot water heater because the rates are higher.  Because we will probably leave the heater for later when we want to get another cup of coffee then we will, of course, use the heater to keep our water hot.

We waste so much money in keeping a water heater, and we don’t even know that we are already consuming so much and wasting something on too much because we just allow ourselves to have the heater consume energy that much under our roof.

That’s what the tankless hot water heater is made for, and you can invest in one to save money and replace the energy-consuming water heaters. Although tankless heaters are introduced as a new product in the US, it has already been purchased and used by Europeans and Japanese for a long time.

Reasons why we need to have Tankless water heater at home

It is easy to understand why the tankless heater could help you save energy and money. The heater will only heat the water if you will need it. You might wonder about more advantages of buying one.

A tankless propane water heater would let you avoid taking cold showers because it will heat the water when you need it compared to an electric heater that might take an hour for the hot water to recover.

The tankless propane water heater will create more hot water because you could make more appliances at your home run at once such as taking a shower while the dishwasher and the laundry are in work.

The tankless propane water heater will also last longer in your hands because they have about 10 to 15 years of warranties that could last you about 20 years before it will break, and you will need to replace it. Compared to tank units, they only last about eight to 10 years in average and only has a 6-year warranty.

Propane tankless water heaters are made up of recycled materials, so you weren’t just able to save money but also the environment too!

Propane tankless water heaters save a lot of money because you will be able to save energy because you will just use gas to heat water. You will be cutting your costs to 30%!

These tankless water heaters will also be space savers because you can put them anywhere, and they would not take up so much room. You could hang them at a wall even.

The tankless water heaters will also provide you with cleaner water, unlike the traditional water heaters that is known to have rust building up inside them when actually, the hot water that you will drink is inside it.

So might be wondering about the cost. You might find it discouraging at first to know that the installation and purchase costs a fortune. For a typical home with two bathrooms, it will cost twice the price of that of a standard water heater. But we should take note that the purchase and installation is a long-term investment because as what the article stated, you will just replace the heater after a long time.

But actually, the main goal here is for you to save money, and the rest is just icing on the cake. Remember that a purchase is only worth it if it will benefit us in the long-term with its alternative offer of doing our tasks in another way.
