Pamper your face like a professional!

Everyone has to relax and enjoy a little pampering every once and a while, what better way then to steam and cleanse your face like a pro! 


Start by cleansing your face with a gentle exfoliating cleanser, while you wait for a jug to boil.

Pour the hot water into a large to medium sized bowl, add fresh herbs or even bath salts for a more enjoyable steam. Wrap a towel around your head and the bowl to capture the steam, then rest your head just above the water and let the power of water and heat do it's magic.


The reason why the steaming is so affective is due to the heat. As you know when we get hot we sweat, and believe it or not this actually helps clear impurities and open your pores, removing un wanted oils. On top of that it helps with circulation, helping to bring nourishment to the outer layers of your face.


Rest and steam your face for about 5 minutes before splashing your face with some cool water. You can easily apply some toner before adding a gentle lotion to your skin to help lock in the moisture. Otherwise you can continue this yummy treat.


Next it does wonders for your skin if you apply a face mask that suits your skin type. The face mask will be 10x more effective towards your skin because your pores are clean and open, ready to absorb fresh nutrients and moisture. You can use any mask you want, or you can use this easy to make, moisturising mask.


Just add honey, avocado and oil together in a bowl, mash and apply for around 10 minutes before rinsing with luke warm water. 


Another simple easy to make face mask that uses one ingredient! is, to spread an even coat of raw egg yolk across your face and leave to dry for around 15-20 minutes (or if you have the time around 30). Rinse with warm water. This leaves your skin soft and can be very soothing and healing towards acne. 


These masks arn't guaranted to work for you or your skin, but you can easily find one that does by searching on the internet, or by looking in books. Remember it might take some time for you to find what your skin really likes.


The last step is to tone and moisturise your fresh, clean skin, to make it even softer and touchable.


Try doing this atleast once every week, to keep a deep clean feel to your skin. It's not just for you, your skin will love it.
