(of a person) not confident or assured; uncertain and anxious : a top model who is notoriously insecure about her looks | a rather gauche, insecure young man.
Things to do to higher your self esteem:
1. Look in the mirror everyday and each day say something you like about yourself.
2. Take care of your self; eat healthy, exercise, dress in clothes that make you feel good about yourself.. ect
3. You can work on changing your negative thoughts to positive ones by:
I am not worth anything.
I have never accomplished anything.
I always make mistakes.
I am a jerk.
I don't deserve a good life.
I am stupid.
I am a valuable person.
I have accomplished many things.
I do many things well.
I am a great person.
I deserve to be happy and healthy.
I am smart.
4. Make a list of:
5. Say these often, even if you don't mean them yet;
6. Smile. :)
