5 DIY Tips for itch-free hair & scalp

Nowadays the biggest hair problem is no longer hairfall, but itchy scalp. And mostly hairfall is caused due to this. Here are a few remedies for natural relief from this problem, but if you persist to have itching, redness, boils, flaking or dandruff, see a Dermatologist.

1.Tea Tree Oil

A very good and strong anti-inflammatory and cleansing agent, this is mixed with olive oil(10 parts) and dabbed with cotton onto skin or scalp to ease the flakiness, itching of psoriasis or even dandruff. 

2.Sea Salt

Sea salt is a very potent scrub when used with a oil like coconut or olive. Dead sea salts contain minerals that have been proven effective in inflammatory conditions of the scalp. 

3. Oatmeal

Oatmeal is not only a healthy breakfast option, but also a good scalp cleanser used as a scrub with oils and water. Leaving an oatmeal paste on your scalp for just 10 minutes will help in lowering the itching and dryness. 

4. Apple Cider Vinegar

Whether its suburns or chicken pox blisters it can be used to soothe and calm sclap irritation and moisturize the scalp or skin. Make sure to dilute it (1:10) with water and leave on for 10 minutes for most effective treatment.

5. Olive oil

Not only is this oil a great low-cholesterol healthy substitute, but also it helps areas of inflamed skin to heal faster. Just using 1 spoon for the entire scalp will make your hair better and shinier. Use a comb after massage into hair leaving atleast for an hour or preferably overnight before rinsing
