Colour boosters you can make at home

We love to get our hair coloured , but what about in between colouring when it gets dull and lifeless. Natural ways to boost your colour to get vibrant locks. For all you'se blondes, brunettes, redheads and black haired ladies out there.

Blonde :

The iconic shade from fairytale princesses to celebrities like Marilyn monroe and blake lively. Your colour ranges from icy platinum - sunkissed dark blonde. (Including my golden haired Bestie Kestrel who never dyed her hair)

Place 3 chamomile tea bags into 1/2 cup of boiling water and let it steep for 10 minutes , once cool use the strained rinse as a colour bosting final rinse after shampooing and conditioning.

Result :

Shiny golden tresses that give goldilocks a run for her money.

Red heads:

Red hair has always been a stand out colour, it turn heads and is the most fashionable colour. Red haired ladies know how to make a statement. Famous redheads like lily cole, Isla fisher and para mores lead singer hayley williams. ( and also my sister Felicity shes a natural redhead but she went brighter). Your colour ranges from light copper - deep burgundey red.

Use 1/2 cup of cranberry juice and apply it to try dry hair let it sit for 10 minutes then rinse out and shampoo and condition as normal.

Intense alluring red hair that turns heads.

Alluring and captivating . Brunettes are sultry with poise . From famous brunettes like Penelope Cruz, Natalie Portman and Angelina Jolie. Your colour is from the lightest brown - deep rich dark brown.

Pour 1 cup of dried rosemary and 1 cup of dried sage into 4 cups of hot water. allow to simmer for 10 minutes then soak for an hour. use a strainer to strain out the herbs . then apply to dry hair and leave for 45 minutes. and wash as normal.

Result :

Rich brunette shades full of shine.

Black ;

Mysterious and dark . Blackhaired ladies are understated and moody. Jet black famous beauties for inspiration are Catherine zeta Jones, Lucy Liu, Katy Perry right through to the queen of goth rock Evanescnces Amy lee.

Combine a cup of back tea with 1/2 cup of warm water into a medium bowl . allow to cool and use it as a final rinse after shampooing and conditioning.
