the Gun vault Mini Vault GVB1000 Biometric Gun Safe is a patented biometric safe with a “No-Eyes Keypad” and a Keyless Biometric Pad that allows for fast and easy access. Its durable steel construction makes it strong enough to withstand hand tool tampering, yet it only weighs 8 pounds, so it's light enough to store inside your nightstand.
The GVB1000 also has a low-intensity blue LED for lighting up the inside contents. Like many electronic gun safes, it has an audio feedback alert that confirms entry, but unlike many other biometric safes, you can disable this feature whenever you choose.

The advantage of a GVB1000
One of the advantages that the Minivault has over the competition is that it’s virtually impossible to break into. Another unique feature is a small blue light inside the safe that allows you to actually see the contents.
Most of the user reviews for the GVB1000 were positive. Many liked the Gunvault’s quick and easy entry. Most said they like the secure feeling they had knowing that they could access the contents quickly without having to fumble around for a key. Those that had children also liked the fact that no one else but those who's fingerprinted is programmed into the safe, could gain access.
Like most products, the Minivault did receive a few negative reviews. Even though the majority of users said that this safe opened flawlessly every time, there were a few people who said that the Gunvault failed to recognize their fingerprints. Whatever the reason for this, since this particular unit can recognize up to 30 fingerprints, the open failure rate can easily be corrected by programming various angles of your finger. This ensures that the safe opens up every time.
A couple of people reported a problem with the door not completely opening whenever there was a confirmed fingerprint recognition. This was probably due to some problem that occurred during the manufacturing process and not a typical issue. more details: https://gunsafeable.com/gunvault-mv500-std-microvault-pistol-gun-safe-review/
