Make up dilemma- To be yourself

Hey all:-)

If you ask guys what kind of make up look on girls they prefer I can guarantee you that 90% of them will vote for a natural no make up look. This is all very good and well because as women I think that we do know how to use minimal make up and still come off looking sexy as hell.

However My issue with this is that, Thats not me! My everyday campus look would fall under the "no make up make up look" But when I go out that's not at all my aim. I love smokey eyes, heavy liner, red lips and I love trying out new looks and going crazy with the glitter liner (not often but its fun).

So in an attempt to be more appealing should I know stifle my urge for drama and go out with my everyday natural look?

The thought of doing just that is not appealing to me in the slightest.

So my bottom line is really simple. There is a time and place for the natural fuss free look. But I will still be rocking my trends when I go out. And if guys wish to label be based on the amount of make up that I am wearing then they are not really worth knowing.

It's my life

Just wear whatever you want as long as it looks nice. Most the guys I've spoken to prefer visual aesthetics. Meaning , even if you wear a lot, as long as it doesn't look caked on, or bad in any way, they'll still find you attractive. Guys aren't oblivious to makeup. So if they don't like your personal taste, frankly they're too shallow, in that they wouldn't talk to you to find out who you really are because of your visual aesthetics, and they're not worth your time. Wearing a lot of makeup, does not equate to being ugly, which some men assume. But to find a guy who likes you regardless of what you wear, then that's far more rewarding than someone who doesn't like you for you. Besides, one shouldn't wear makeup for men, they should wear it for themselves and have fun doing so.
