Diets and sticking to them!

OK so i know that every girl in this world is obsessed about losing weight and being skinny and blah blah blah. But really, its not that hard to lose the weight. I know what your thinking but really its not, you just have to trust and believe in yourself. Trust me i have been overweight since i was a little one my mom thought that it was just my baby fat and that i would grow out of it (yea right!). But as i grew up some came off but i was still overweight i hated my body and you sometimes feel fat and you hate your body but come on you gotta give your body a break its put up with everything that you've eaten and done i think it deserves some credit. (:

-The first step to losing the weight is no matter what you cant give up! Seriously you gotta have faith in yourself and you cant just diet for like a week then give up just because you ate a brownie, its OK to have sweets in moderation but not too much and plus if you just diet for a week and think that your did good because you lost five pounds its mostly your water wait that you lost and then you gain it back very quick.

-The second is that you have to change the way you eat and i don't mean that you have to starve yourself, trust me i did a diet where i ate twice a day and barley anything and i almost fainted beacuse i wasnt eating right. So yea please dont try that lol. But what you need to have is 5 servings of fruits and veggies (fresh!!) and 3 servings of low fat dairy products (cheese, milk, yogurt,etc.) and 2 servings of lean meat,fish, or poultry. Also you need to eat nuts, seeds, and your diet needs to have alot of whole grain! Plus olive oil that can help burn belly fat. Plus lots of water i dont mean that you need to chug water just 6-8 cups. Water helps you alot.

-The third is of course your physical activity. You need 20-30 min. of some type of cardio 3-5 times a week( you can do it everyday if you prefer). And its important that you don't workout on the same area everyday you need 24 hours to let the muscle rest. And i don't mean that your gonna get ugly bulkey man muscle its good to have muscle! don't get me wrong. And you dont have to do boring exercises bring your bff to the gym and let her encourage you or can take your i-pod and let go. Working out releases alot of stress and it can be fun. And also you need to lift weights. If you just diet and do cardio than you can gain all that weight back, you need to lift weights to keep that weight off because you can lose your lean muscle mass and you need that!! I'm not saying that you need to everyday and be like a man you can do it every other day or twice a week if you prefer. But you need to cause all your hard work can go to waste, trust me lol. And it also sculpts your body which as you see on all that celebrities have the beautiful sculpted body's because they lift weights.
