Whether he may be a celebrity or just the cute boy next door, we all know it's hard to get over a guy but eventually, we've gotta let go. Sure, even though it's just a lil crush it feels like he's your only happiness and that your life will not be complete without him.
It's either because he looks good that you like him or you like him for who he really is. Either way there are a lot of tips you can get to help you get over him. Okay, I was about to type the tips but that would make this article a lil short. So I have to figure out a way to make it longer to fight writer's block.
Anyway, I myself have gone through the rough process of getting over guys. And as a very open-minded person, I have gathered some tips through experience that I would like to share with you guys.
Okay, so first of all, there's the "i-can't-live-without-him" attitude. Get a life, or better yet take this advice. When you look back at the past, you will remember your ex crushes, ex guys and every guy you liked back then but you are completely over them now. What I've learned from that is your current crush will be "just another guy" in the future. And knowing this, why waste tears on him?
Sure it's hard coz he's your current but he's not gonna be the last guy that'll come to your life. There are other more worthy guys out there waiting for you. Also, keeping this in mind is very important. I got this from a very good friend slash math teacher. I had a crush on a guy and he knew. This is what he told me:
"If you love him, let him go. If he comes back to you, he's really yours but if he doesn't, he's not even for you in the first place."
That got me good. He had a point so I let the guy go and now, I don't care about him anymore. I've moved on. But I gotta tell you, while moving on may be "playing safe" as you don't get a new crush for a while. I gotta tell you it's really boring not to like someone. You will rather be broken hearted than move on but hey, life goes on.
So there, I've said those words I keep in mind, but I've got more tips that are, fortunately, much easier to read. What are those tips? Yeah I know you're getting curious so I'm getting straight to the point.
~Crying isn't your only option, go to a private place where you feel safe, like your room. Now sit on the floor, look up the cieling, close your eyes, and jump up while shouting how you feel. That should feel good.
~Have a sleep over with your friends and talk about your feelings. Talk about the negative facts about that guy.
~Call your best friends and have a mall crawl.
~Write a short story about your relationship. You may discover a new talent.
~Speaking of talents, what about a song? But I won't strongly recomend it since one day you'll get over him and the song still exists, you may also have your feelings back.
~Go on. Party like you've never partied before. Show yourself to the world. You never know who might meet. But make sure the party is completely safe, meaning safe people will be there.
~Give yourself a make over. That should always cheer up any girl.
~Eat chocolate, milk chocolate or dark chocolate are the best. Chocolate makes you happy.
~Watch funny shows like Hannah Montana, Sonny With A Chance, iCarly and more.
~And when you do find a new guy, love him like you've never been hurt before.
~I love chocolate.
That's it. Actually I have some more if you squeeze me but I gotta post this. And yeah I know the last one isn't a tip but hey, I love chocolate. I hope you'll find this very helpful. Good luck!!! ^_^
