When should you consider a Brazilian Butt Lift?
Buttock augmentation, also known as Brazilian butt lift, is a procedure in which your butt is augmented without you having to undergo a surgical procedure. It uses liposuction in order to harvest fat from one area of your body or several places and the fat is then injected into your butt cheek and the outer hips addressing common issues likes sagging or flat buttocks. It is an effective method for disproportioned or asymmetrical buttocks caused due to significant weight loss. Contrary to the butt implant surgery which requires the use of artificial implants to increase the shape or the size of the butt, Brazilian butt lift is a natural method of injecting your own body fat.
The basic factor to take into consideration for a Brazilian butt lift is the general health of the patient. Just like for any other cosmetic surgery procedure, you must be in good general health. If you have lung and heart conditions or if you suffer from a neurological disorder, you may not be an ideal candidate for the procedure. The best candidate for a Brazilian butt lift is the one who is at their ideal weight and have enough fat which can be liposuctioned on the thighs, back, love handles or on the abdomen. The skin in these areas must have the best elasticity in order to avoid sagging because of the liposuction.
In case you are the right candidate for a Brazilian butt lift but do not have sufficient fat, you may be asked to gain at least 10 to 20 pounds before undergoing the treatment. When fat is injected into your butt, some of it will be reabsorbed by the body and the rest gets eliminated naturally. At least 60 percent of the injected fat will remain at the treatment site allowing for amazing augmentation results. However, always remember that weight fluctuations will also affect this fat like it affects other fat cells in the body.
The cost of a Brazilian butt lift will vary according to where you get it done. There are also some other factors which may affect the price like the number of areas where the fat will be drawn from and the level of experience of your surgeon. As well, other additional fees must be considered like the fee for anesthesia or operating room.
